To Elm St. Parking Garage (where there is free conference parking with the CFC PARKING PASS, only a 5 minute walk from the Zeiterion)

From Boston:

  • Route 93 South {13 miles}. Hwy. forks in Braintree; stay right. Sign reads: "93 South, Dedham-Providence." {3 miles}.
  • Exit 4: Route 24 South: This is a left lane exit. {24 miles}
  • Exit 12: Route 140 South {19 miles}
  • Exit 2E: Interstate 195 East. {1.3 miles}
  • Exit 15: Downtown - Route 18 South {1.1 miles}
  • TURN RIGHT at lights onto Elm Street. Parking garage two blocks on right.

From Cape Cod:

  • Route 6 West
  • Route 25
  • Route I-195 West
  • Exit 15: Downtown - Route 18 South
  • TURN RIGHT at lights onto Elm Street. Parking garage two blocks on right.

From Providence, RI

  • Route 95
  • Route I-195 East
  • Exit 15: Downtown - Route 18 South
  • TURN RIGHT at lights onto Elm Street. Parking garage two blocks on right.

 

To Zeiterion Theatre

From Points South:
Take Route 140 South to Exit 2E (195 East) to New Bedford. Get off at Exit 15 (Downtown). You are now on Route 18. Work your way into the middle lane. You will drive through one set of lights ( see Standard-Times building on the right) and then drive through second set of lights. Immediately after going through the second set of lights you will turn right onto School Street. As you drive up the street you will see a brick building with a gold Z on it; that is the Zeiterion. At the third intersection, turn right onto Purchase Street. The theatre is on your right.

From Boston and Points North:
Take the southeast expressway towards Quincy and Braintree. Get on Route 128 North to Route 24 South. This is a tricky turn-off that occurs on the left side of the highway. When you reach Taunton, (Silver City Galleria Mall exit) take Route 140 South, to Exit 2E (195 East). Get off at Exit 15 (Route 18 South). Follow directions above.

From Cape Cod:
Take Route 195 (New Bedford). Follow until you reach Exit 15 (Downtown) in New Bedford. You are now on Route 18. Work your way into the middle lane.
