Silent Auction

What is the Connecting for Change Silent Auction?

The Connecting for Change (CFC) Silent Auction is a new and exciting component of the CFC Conference in 2010. Proceeds from sales of Silent Auction items directly benefit the Connecting for Change Conference, which is a program of the Marion Institute, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations of items from both individuals and businesses will make the Silent Auction a success this year.

What types of items are accepted in the CFC Silent Auction?

Donations to the CFC Silent Auction may come in all shapes, forms and sizes. We will accept any item that is aligned with the mission statement of the conference, visionary and practical solutions for restoring the Earth and its inhabitants. Please see below for examples of items that may be donated.

How can my business/organization benefit from donating an item?

In addition to acknowledgement of your donation in several areas, including the CFC website, the Program Booklet and Silent Auction Inventory, your business/organization will have strong visibility at the event. As a donor, you are given the opportunity to display signage of your product or service, on view to over 2,000 CFC attendees.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

All donations to the Silent Auction are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding specific tax laws. You will receive a letter following the CFC Conference that will serve as your donation receipt.

Where do I begin?

Plan your donation today by completing the Silent Auction Donation Form and returning it to the Marion Institute by Friday, October 1, 2010. Send your Donation Form early for maximum exposure!

Do I need to deliver my donation?

All donations must be received no later than Friday, October 15, 2010. You can deliver your donation to the Marion Institute, mail your item, or schedule a pickup with the Marion Institute Staff or volunteer.

I have further questions.

If you have any questions or concerns about the CFC Silent Auction, contact Judy Pemstein, by phone at 508.748.0816 or by e-mail at jpemstein@marioninstitute.org
