Youth Initiative

The Youth Initiative gives young people an opportunity to step outside of their comfort zone and to be reminded of their own power. Being young, does not mean not capable. Listening and validating the voice of the youth is critical to solving some of our world’s most pressing issues. It’s our world and it’s our time.

The Youth Initiative brings together hundreds of youth from cities and towns across the Northeast, from New Hampshire to New York. We focus on the interconnectedness of social justice and environmental sustainability, weaving in artistic elements, music and hands-on activities.

Youth are at the forefront of environmental and social movements. We’re breaking down barriers and building on the generations that went before us. We must rise to meet the challenges facing the world today and we cannot do this alone.
